Day 1: Maun
Arrive into Maun and enjoy a complimentary transfer to your property for the next 2 nights.
Accommodation: Cresta Maun
Day 2-3: Cresta Maun
During your time at Cresta Maun, enjoy a scheduled two-hour sunset cruise and a scheduled Mokoro day trip. What a wonderful way to experience Maun....by boat! Enjoy a relaxing cruise in the Thamalakane river up to a sunset spot. Dependent on water levels at the time. Traditional dug-out canoe or Mokoro trips have over the years become a very popular way for travellers to experience the tranquility of the Okavango Delta and the Bayei way of life using Mokoro (dug-out canoe). Afternoon bush walks are optional and you will need closed shoes for this. Expect to see various birds and water lilies and animals such as elephants, zebras and antelope. Accommodation: Cresta Maun
Day 4-6: Okavango Delta
Spend the next three nights at your selected available camp in the Okavango Delta. Choose between either Kwando Safaris RRA Dinare or MMA Dinare. Day and night game drives take place in the private concession adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. These are on and off road safaris, comprising six people, a guide and a tracker (at night). Rra or Mma Dinare also offers seasonal water activities on the Gomoti river and game walks available depending on local conditions. Mokoros are water level dependent.
