Bamburi Beach
Bamburi Beach lies just north of Mombasa and is a busy stretch of white sandy beach with large and small hotels which vary in quality. Along some parts of this beach there is no beachfront at high tide.

English Point looks across the creek surrounding Mombasa Island towards the Old Town and the nearby Tamarind Restaurant, renowned for its excellent seafood, overlooks the old Dhow harbour. The Tamarind offers dhow trips with superb seafood lunches or dinners along the creek. Along the shoreline, the beaches and white and sandy and lined with palms. If the visitor wants a change from beach activities the Bamburi Quarry Nature Trail is an impressive example of land reclamation from a cement quarry and is home to a wonderful variety of creatures, crocodiles, birds and fish.
